Hello you lovely lot! If you're reading this, you're wondering where Coffee and a Catfish originally came from. Let me introduce myself: I'm Mae - the owner, planner, designer, printer, packager, quality checker, social media manager, accountant and everything else at Coffee and a Catfish!

In 2021 I was really struggling with my health, and doodling on my iPad was a great way to distract myself. What started as a few 'thank you for being there' cards soon turned into a range of wall art prints and gifts that I would have benefited from receiving when I was unwell, and once I heard that they were helping others, I couldn't stop!

Nowadays, I'm doing much better, but I still love to create products that help to add a little 'cosy' into people's lives. In fact, I love it so much that in 2025 I decided to take the leap and leave the career I had worked in for almost a decade to commit full time to my business! It hasn't been easy, but running Coffee and a Catfish has allowed me to heal, rest when I need to, support my family and contribute to the world that helped save me. I LOVE to give back when I can, and have donated and worked with multiple charities and organisations including the Miscarriage Association UK, RSPCA, The Royal Veterinary College Emergency & Critical Care Team and Swansea University Aerial Sports Club.

I think people really underestimate the impact that sending a simple 'I'm here for you' card or colourful gift set can have on people. You don't have to spend a fortune to make someone feel less alone - Coffee and a Catfish is proof of that.
